Xiath: And we are back again! You just can't get rid of us!
Here we are, back with another long episode. This time Rainstar and myself are joined by Losa the fox on our journey to discover why furries are so creative.
I hope you remembered to bring some popcorn and a soda because this is yet another long episode!

Xiath: Hello once again!
So, did ya miss us? Of course you did!
I'm pretty sure this is our longest cast EVER. It comes in at just around 2 hours long. Sorry for the length but I think it's still a descent cast.
In this episode, Rainstar and myself discuss if furry is a culture, and what it would be like if furry was a culture. This was a fun cast to be on I'll be honest. Just please excuse the technical difficulties later on. Rainstar's computer started to overheat which caused his skype to drop out periodically. I edited a bunch of the dropped bits out, but there's still some left.
Don't forget to listen to the very end for an announcement concerning the future of FursonaPod! If you have any questions about anything please email us at listenermail@fursonapod.com.

Xiath: Hello once again!
*fanfare music plays* Here I am, once again, to deliver a new podcast to you!
This episode we talk about furries and scalies. The difference this time is it's only myself, and two other guests this episode because Rain had to back out last minute. The two guests this time are Slade, and Tiel. So give them a warm FursonaPod welcome!
Hope you like the episode!
P.S. In case you didn't catch it in the episode, we are changing our guest policy. We are no longer taking just anyone as a guest. We (as in Rain or myself) have to know you to some degree in order to become a guest on fursonapod. Unfortunately, that means most of our guest list is null and void as of now. So if you asked to be a guest you may not be on the list anymore. I'm sorry for this, but we are trying to really clean up the podcast because I let the quality slip drastically for a while there.

Xiath: Hello once again!
This episode is like a throwback from the early days of FursonaPod 2.0 because this time it's just Rainstar and myself behind the mic. Rainstar was also the host for this episode! He did a fine job if I do say so myself.
This episode we talk about the similarities and differences between the Furry fandom and the Anime fandom.

Hey everyone! I just want to say sorry for our delay again. Our schedules have not lined up at all this last month. I hope we can record again within the next few weeks.
I also want to say thank you to everyone who has sent us an email since the last episode. We really do greatly appreciate receiving emails from you.
Thanks again for sticking with us. We aren't dead yet! There still will be more to come.

Xiath: Here we are again! This time, with a real life episode!
In this episode of FursonaPod, Shadow and I are joined once again by Rainstar the cheetah! We've been on quite the roll with being able to get Rainstar on the cast.
Anyways. We cover how the fandom affects both people within, and outside of the fandom.
As always, don't forget to send in your emails to the listenermail@fursonapod.com email. We LOVE to hear from you.

Xiath: Warning! this is not a standard episode of FursonaPod. The three of us were suddenly able to record together and since I didn't have a proper FursonaPod episode idea ready we decided to talk about random stuff. This episode is not censored and contains a high amount of swearing, innuendos, and other mature material. Listener discretion is advised.
Well lucky day! The planets aligned just right so that Shadow, Rainstar, and myself could all record! The unfortunate thing is I didn't have a FursonaPod idea ready at the time so this cast has no structure at all. This is literally just the three of us talking about random things and telling stories about our lives. Which is okay since we absolutely could not pass up the opportunity to have Rainstar on with us again. Just be warned that if you are expecting the usual furry-based podcast then you aren't going to find it in this episode.
Here are some things to give context to some of the things we talked about:
When Rainstar tells us to look at the FursonaPod FA page, he was commenting to the order of our personal account icons in the artist info section. What made it weird is that Shadow and I have a matching pair of "kissing" icons that I made. What was weird is the order was my icon, Rainstars icon, and Shadows icon, so it looked as if we were both kissing his icon...
At the end of the episode, Rainstar and I are both watching the Cyanide and Happiness episode called "beer run". Here is a link to the video so you can understand what we are laughing at. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rw2b8ENc_Ak
Well anyways, I hope you enjoy this little treat. I hope to start doing standard episodes of FursonaPod once again in July some time. I realize that we have been gone way too long. I hope that you will forgive me and stay a listener. I finally decided to read the comments on Itunes to see what people had to say about our cast and I noticed that most of the comments were positive ones. I will try to get this podcast back up and running and start pumping out the content that you have all expect from us.
Oh, and PLEASE email us! our email box is looking a bit skinny. I could really use your help in coming up with topic ideas for FursonaPod because that is currently the biggest hurdle for us right now.

Yes yes, I know. These constant bad blog posts followed by good blog posts are starting to get annoying. But our listeners need to know, whether it's good or bad!
I'm sure if you are reading this post then you have read the previous post. This is an update on the situation discussed in the last post.
Things are looking up. Shadow does still have access to most things, so it's not as bad as what Rainstar went through, thankfully.
However, it looks like he will have to step down as a co-host for an un-known amount of time. That leaves me with very few options as to what I can do to further FursonaPod.
I have decided that FursonaPod will not be ended yet, but it will be postponed until I can figure out how to make this work. I hope I can figure something out before too long because I'm sure you are getting tired of us not giving you more content.
I will keep everyone updated.

It has been a little while since I posted the last update so I figure it's due time for another one.
My father is doing a whole lot better now. He is at home and is even active. I am cautiously optimistic that we may be able to return in a few weeks.
I plan on trying to keep a regular schedule once we do return. With that being said, I need some help. The fact of the matter is that FursonaPod is running out of topic ideas fast. I hate to basically beg for something but I would LOVE to hear any topic ideas that you can come up with. Just remember that it has to pertain to the Furry Fandom in some way or another. Just send an email to listenermail@fursonapod.com to give us your ideas.
One last thing. I have a series idea, or rather, a sister podcast idea called 'The New Fur Survival Guide'. I am going to need your help with this. What I want is for you to send in any tips or words of wisdom that you would like to give to new furs. We all know what it's like to look around forums and see the same questions asked over and over again by new furs. What I want is to have a place that people can link new furs to that will help answer those questions, along with give them general advice about how the fandom works. Please send in a wide variety of suggestions. This is such a wide subject that I may even consider making this a free standing podcast that is hosted on this site. Some ideas I just thought up are:
New fur 101,
What is 'furry art'
What are 'furry conventions'
What is 'fursuiting'
Furry Art and other works 101,
How to properly commission artwork (or any other type of work),
What is 'gift art',
How to become a 'furry artist',
How to know when to start doing commissions and how to handle doing commissions,
Convention 101,
How to plan for your first con,
What to bring to your first con,
To volunteer or not to volunteer,
Paneling,
Fursuiting 101,
How to act around fursuiters,
Tips on how to fursuit effectively,
Where to find a fursuit and how to properly commission a fursuit,
Tips and resources on how to make your own fursuit,
*Chart key.
Bold text will be the name of a series within the podcast,
Normal text will be individual episodes.
This is only what I was able to think of in a 10 minute period of time. Please give us more topic ideas! We could make this a full blown project.
I wont make this series until we have enough words of wisdom from the community. So please send in your words of wisdom. The topics also don't have to be long ones. 'The New Fur Survival Guide' will only contain the topic matter and wont have other segments like FursonaPod does. What this means is that each episode will probably only be between 10-30 minutes long.
Before I get emails asking this: No, 'The New Fur Survival Guide' will not replace FursonaPod, it is only going to be a side project. If we decide to do it that is ^^.

First of all, I would like to thank every last one of our listeners for sticking with us when we have been so irregular.
I regret to inform you that FursonaPod will be on hold once again. This time I, unfortunately, have good reasons.
My father went in for an angiogram on Monday. The surgeon slipped and ruptured his artery. They had to restart his heart three times. He was rushed to a proper O.R. to repair the damage and to perform a triple bypass. Thankfully, the surgery was a success and he is doing okay now. However, he will be out of commission for a few months. Since I am the oldest son, I will have to spend a lot of my time taking care of him, as well as my mother, in the coming months.
I am so sorry that FursonaPod isn't updating regularly like I had hoped it would. However, I can't be worrying about a podcast at this point in time. Family comes first.
FursonaPod WILL be coming back at some point in time. Just don't expect that to happen for a few months.
